Deirdre Dyson & Richard Sweeney
We expect one of the highlights of the Chelsea Design Quarter Autumn Design Trail, in partnership with The BIID, will be the collaboration between Deirdre Dyson and paper artist Richard Sweeney.
Richard has created a new exhibition “Cut, Pleat, Repeat” in celebration of Deirdre Dyson’s paper-inspired rug collection. The exhibition features eight new paper sculptures and a 2m x 2m installation which will be displayed alongside Deirdre’s paper-inspired rug designs from this year’s ‘Paper & Stone’ collection.
There is an opportunity to meet the artists – Richard Sweeney and Deirdre Dyson on from 2pm – 4pm on Thursday 4th November. RSVP for this is essential. Neighbouring showroom Haute Deco will also be holding an event from 10am – 12pm on 4th November (click here for details), offering visitors the opportunity to attend both events and have a look at the other collaborations in between!
