Chelsea Design Quarter Pop Up at King's Road Park Launch Event

King’s Road Park is celebrating the launch of the long awaited show home on the 12th and 13th June. Curated by Nick Auston Design, Nick and his team have hand-selected items from local businesses along the King’s Road to create an exquisite show apartment. In order to celebrate great British brands and the variety of shops local to King’s Road Park, Nick has sourced pieces from Porta Romana, The Rug Company, Timothy Oulton, and Bespoke Sofa London which collectively represent an eclectic mix of longstanding local boutiques and prominent global retailers.

King’s Road Park are hosting an exclusive VIP launch of the show apartment on the 11th June, welcoming purchasers who have already bought their new home off plan within the development. This exclusive event plays tribute to the development’s location within the Design Quarter and will showcase the neighbouring Chelsea Design Quarter.

Chelsea Design Quarter is delighted to be working with St William Homes and as part of the launch event CDQ will be hosting a pop-up tent, which will be furnished with a selection of products from our members including Tom Faulkner, Robert Langford and Matthew Wailes rugs.  The design of the tent also incorporates art by long standing friend of CDQ Jan Erika, whose work will also be displayed through the Matthew Wailes ‘Navajo’ rug which is part of their collaborative collection.

Robert Langford is supplying a couple of their Esmerelda Chairs, upholstered in one of their house fabrics ‘Serengeti’.  They will also have a pair of scatter cushion from their new ‘Zulu Jewel’ collection.

Pulling the whole scheme together will be a Lexington Oval coffee table from Tom Faulkner and a trio of their Lily tables with Venetian glass tops.  They are also providing a pair of their striking Galena vases made from bronze and steel.

King’s Road Park is located on what was the old Fulham Gas Works, just a short walk from the iconic King’s Road.  The first phase comprises suites, 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses, and will also include a plethora of residents facilities, designed in the style of a private members club.

The show home will be open to the public from Saturday 12th June by appointment only. Please click here to book.
