John Cullen Lighting & Max Milligan

Photographer Max Milligan’s works will be on display throughout the John Cullen showroom throughout the Chelsea Design Quarter Autumn Design Trail, in partnership with The BIID.

Max describes himself as “a ‘straight’ photographer – which means using only natural and available light – no flash, filters nor anything but the most basic corrective manipulation. The act of creation for me is between the eye and the moment and then it is done.”

He has published 8 books some of which have have appeared in The Times Top 10 Travel Books of the Year and Condé Nast Traveller Book of the Month.

He lectures regularly at institutions such as the Royal Geographical Society and is currently working on books about Iceland, Romania and Fine Art Nudes.
