The Rug Company launch collaborative collection with Farrow & Ball
The Rug Company have collaborated with paint and wallpaper industry leaders, Farrow & Ball. ‘The Complementary Colour Collection’ is made up of 12 rugs which offer one neutral and one accent colourway for the six Farrow & Ball neutral groups. The first range of hand loomed rugs by The Rug Company, the unique collection effortlessly complements the Farrow & Ball palette.
The hand loom rugs, which are available in three different textures: plain wool, cut and loop stripe and wool with a silk border have been skilfully crafted by The Rug Company’s team of expert weavers in Nepal, using only the finest quality hand-spun yarns of Tibetan wool and silk.
With options to pick a colour, size and texture there are a multitude of options available to ensure that the rug is subtly tailored to every customer.

To mark the launch of this exciting collaboration The Rug Company held a panel discussion at their Chelsea Design Quarter showroom. Scott Maddux of Maddux Creative chaired a talk entitled: ‘Colour Rules: How to Make and Break Them.’ The panellists included Jo Le Gleud, Scott’s business partner at Maddux Creative, Joa Studholme, International Colour Consultant at Farrow & Ball, Milly Wright, The Rug Company’s Creative Director and Sophie Ashby, founder of Studio Ashby. It was a lively discussion, and the audience was largely interior designers and colour fans who came to hear a few tricks of the trade when it comes to decorating with colour.
Stock is available from The Rug Company showrooms, and available to view in Farrow & Ball showrooms worldwide.
