Pooky x Ellen Merchant Lino Printing/Relief Printing Workshop

For the Springtime Sessions, in partnership with the BIID, printmaker and designer Ellen Merchant will be joining Pooky at their Kings Road showroom for a 2 hour printmaking workshop.  With her portable printing press in tow Ellen will cover all things from original print design through to helping you print your finished design onto paper to take home with you.  Hosted by Pooky with food and drink and a goodie bag to take home with you, but hurry, only 12 spots available!

Ellen Merchant is a decorative artist,  designer & printmaker based in London.  Drawing from a love of pattern and printmaking,  she creates hand-drawn, uplifting prints with a decorative aesthetic that pays homage to the British arts & crafts movement. Ellen specialises in original pattern design,  impactful colour & the application of traditional craft skills & values to vibrant,  contemporary design for the home.  In 2021 Ellen was selected as one of the winners for Pooky’s “Shades of Brilliance” design competition and her design resulted in a gorgeous range of shades with Pooky.  Other print collaborators include Studio Atkinson, Daydress and Anthropologie.

The event takes place on Wednesday 26th April from 2pm – 4pm and is free of charge, but booking is required.
