Deirdre Dyson welcomes you to her Carpet Gallery designed by Architect Tim Hatton. The innovative, four-storey space offers a chance to enjoy Deirdre’s carpets as contemporary works of art.
Situated on the corner of Kings Road and Wandon Road, our gallery offers private parking for our customers.
Deirdre Dyson carpets are all made to order using the finest, luxurious materials. Carpets are either hand-knotted in Nepal or hand-tufted in the UK and are suitable for both domestic and commercial interiors.
Any design can be adapted for freestanding or fitted applications and from a palette of over 5,000 colours, using wool and silk combinations.
The key to Deirdre Dyson’s design style is simplicity of line and exceptional use of colour, based on her experience as a fine artist, Deirdre’s first book, Walking on Art – published by Thames & Hudson, and described by the late Terence Conran as A book that should be treasured by designers of interiors charts her transition from artist to rug designer and catalogues 15 years of rug designs, their inspiration and the artisan craftsmanship involved in their manufacture.
Deirdre opened a second gallery in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris in 2020.
