Summary of Role
To maximize identified sales opportunities by developing and managing relationships with both dormant and newly
identified high-potential clients within the luxury hospitality and residential markets.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

To Deliver agreed annual sales targets for both dormant and newly identified clients through:
– Re-connecting and building relationships with former clients to understand why they were not retained and develop and deliver an action plan for positive re-engagement.
– Analysis of data using effective processes and systems, ensuring that efforts are prioritized based on both dormant client and new client opportunity lists
– Development of structured, individual action plans to target agreed priority clients, past and potential
– Ensuring that all targeted clients are fully up to date on George Smith products and services.
– Building strong relationships with targeted clients through regular and appropriate contact including:
1. Social selling/social media networking
2. Client meetings
3. Wider networking and outreach.
– Assessment of opportunities to ensure a good fit between specific client projects and George Smith products and services.
– Ensuring internal CRM systems are updated for identified clients.
– Working with the marketing team to develop effective strategies to promote the George Smith Brand with identified clients including:
1.  Social Events, CPD Sessions and Lunch & Learns
2. Encouraging referrals and testimonials
3. Taking the lead on specified sales related projects and events as required

Skills & Qualifications

– Experience of directly managing and developing client relationships in the marketplace of luxury brands, ideally furniture.
– Experience of selling into trade professionals within the interiors industry, particularly on a commercial scale and large residential projects.
– Proven track record in client relationship development and management, delivering sales growth, and exceeding targets.
– Proven track record in converting targeted identified sales converting these to live sales opportunities.
