Loomah launches new Houndstooth collection
Loomah are launching their fabulous new ‘Houndstooth’ in September. The collection will be released to coincide with London Design Festival and is inspired by the traditional houndstooth patterns originally worn by sheepherders in the 19thCentury.
Although more commonly seen today in conservative menswear and increasingly womenswear, the geometric designs lend themselves perfectly to interiors. To soften the traditionally masculine feel of the pattern Loomah have made up the designs in the finest worsted wool to give a sumptuous, velvety finish. The addition of polished cotton also adds lustre to the overall look.
As with all Loomah designs ‘Houndstooth’ is custom made to order and can be adapted to your exact specification – be it using softer colours or scaling patterns to make a less bold statement.
